SUNDAY WIN. :)
Would you mind if I claim this day as MY day? Haha. I didn’t expect being just a mere spectator on a TV screen would give me such an adrenaline high. For one, the Celtics finally got their composure back and gave the Heat a wake up call that hey, they’re still the reigning eastern conference champion after all. Remains to be the team to beat, man!
The BIG 3 BIG 4 with Lebron - owned. \m/
And of course the highlight of the game was the unexpected and valiant comeback of Rondo after dislocating his elbow in a nasty tangle with Wade.
At first, I was worried because really, it doesn’t look good at all. While the numerous replays of the fall kept on playing, I saw his NBA career flashing before my very eyes. He was writhing in pain and everyone around me (my two big brotha’s and their buddy) were claiming that with the looks of it, he’d have to take the postseason off. But, what a spirit man! He came out of the locker room just minutes after the injury, ready to fire up a fourth quarter play. Now, a man who, despite of a serious limiting injury still remains to be an asset rather than a liability to the team - that, that is what an NBA man is wired to be. He undoubtedly earned that standing ovation. And that one hand game was just phenomenal. Well, at the least, for me.
Then there was Shaq O’neal’s return to the line up. My favorite hilarious player of all time. Sadly, he’d only got few playing minutes and didn’t contribute much. I guess, you’d better stick with your self-proclaimed consultant role right there Shaq. :)
Now, after that much needed 97-81 win, let’s move ahead with the Pinoy boxing pride: Manny Pacqui. :) Haha. It was not much of an entertaining fight, but still, the unanimous win is still something for the Pinoys to celebrate. At least, the whole world got to witness the most epic fail, knock-down call ever. C’mon, I didn’t know pushing on Manny’s armpit is considered a knock out? Maybe, a new rule right there, Bayslee huh? Psssh.
But of course, the biggest win of ‘em all goes to the best mom in the world: Ninda Neri Jaralve. :) Happy Mother’s day Mama! :)
Seeeeei. (^____^) Love you! :)
