My current read. ☺ It reeks of a children’s book aura. And yes, not my kind of read again. But the psycho in Nora Robert’s Sanctuary is driving me up in the wall, I badly need a breather. Ergo, I gave “The room” a once over and made a go for it. Besides, a little switch of book genre might just keep me from being jumpy at the slightest stimuli. Geez, I can’t even look at a person holding an old-school-camera without sizing them up. Worse, I’m developing this very compelling urge to smash that person right then and there. Haha. Harsh, but aren’t we all? (Sanctuary is by the way about a psycho photographer stalking on another lady photog and is hellbent to killing her in a very unnerving way. Creepy, right?)
Also the book’s loaned to me by Kram, of all people. Describing him as a book-phobic (if there’s such a word, which I’m pretty sure there’s not) don’t do any justice to his aversion from anything on print. And mind you, that’s not a subjective statement, that’s a fact. Hold me to it. Well I guess, people do change.. But I still can’t wrap my head around the thought of him finishing a book, let alone a 321-page, font 8 one. Must. Be. A. Very. Good. Read.
Anyhow, on a none why-I’m-reading-this-book-note, I’m actually still on page 5. So I hafta keep up with my reading tomorrow. I’m giving myself 3 days, tops, to finish this. Thought that’s long enough leeway for me to gather up the courage to get back on Sanctuary again. So will prolly bring this to Keith’s thanksgiving in Coconut Bay tomorrow, partly to compensate and largely, to kill time. No swimming for me. Can’t afford a single buck, cos I’m a sore unemployed loser and the bastard (I love you) shamelessly made us shoulder the pool fee. Pft.
Anyway, that’s just about it loves. Sleep tight. ♥ /brb, beating my 2am bedtime. :)
